<postDiscord[m]> You can do multi hosts but it requires their dumb cloud platform
<postDiscord[m]> I tried using it to monitor my 5 raspberry pis and it made me register for their cloud platform.
<postDiscord[m]> It can supposedly be used offline, but the installation was annoying
<postDiscord[m]> Just use Prometheus and grafana which IPFS supports exporting metrics too

<nbonfils[m]> And I was wondering, what would it take to back up the internet archive with ipfs ?
<jadedctrl> nbonfils[m]: the entire internet archive?
<jadedctrl> a massive amount of resources and coordination
<jadedctrl> and cooperation from the archive itself
<jadedctrl> they host an insane amount of data, it's beautiful
<nbonfils[m]> Yes but ipfs would definitely be a solution to those kind of problems right ?
<nbonfils[m]> Since it aims to make data/website more resilient

<nimaje> well, the internet archive "problem" was, that they removed the limit of the waitlist in their library (those ebooks still have drm stuff afaik) as normal library are closed due to COVID-19, they announced and started that in march, so no idea why the publishers waited so long to sue IA
