mjourdan: a friend of mine has just tested one of chewitt's libreelec images with hardware decoding enabled: SD (mpeg2) and 720p (h264) streams tvheadend (which is a separate box which is connected to his sattelite dish) are both working fine

it seems that the libreelec images are still using the 3.14 kernel, so it wasn't using your driver. nevertheless: still great work you're doing there :)

xdarklight: haha, I was surprised since tv broadcasts are usually the kind of streams that break something..! But I've fixed a ton of issues in the past weeks for live and interlaced broadcasts. I don't think there are any official test builds yet of LibreElec with a mainline kernel
