<yangxuan> narmstrong: After ask 150balbes I have know the reason why archlinux arm won't boot on my box, the u-boot on emmc have higher priority, so the mainline u-boot on usb never been used. Do you know how to chainload mainline u-boot with amlogic u-boot use autoscript? I tried go command: fatload usb 0 0x01000000 u-boot.bin go 0x01000000 ,it stuck at blackscreen, the kernel was not boot.

<narmstrong> yangxuan: the Amlogic SoCs ROM does not support loading u-boot from an usb mass storage device, but if you need to chainload like you did you need to the load the original u-boot.bin not the one issued from and aml_encrypt tool

<yangxuan> narmstrong: you mean I have to replace the u-boot on emmc with original u-boot.bin?
<narmstrong> No, only the u-boot.bin file from the aml encrypt sequence will boot from eMMC, not the result of the mainline u-boot make
<narmstrong> But you can chainload this later binary from the original u-boot flashed on the eMMC
<narmstrong> With you extract same commands you provided
<yangxuan> narmstrong: can I chainload u-boot.bin with tftp?
