<probono> hello, is it possible to install a newer kernel from deb on armbian on s805 on nand?
<probono> i figure i need to flash something to /dev/boot
<probono> but what?
<probono> just installing linux-dtb-next-odroidc1_5.64_armhf.deb and linux-image-next-odroidc1_5.64_armhf.deb does not change the kernel that gets booted

<Lyude> so: if I try to create a partition on an emmc from uboot like: mmc hwpartition gp1 100; but the emmc is unpartitioned but has data on it, will gp1 just contain the data there?
<Lyude> i'm basically wondering if I can create hwpartitions that I can use which start after where I burned the bootloader onto the emmc
<Lyude> without like, actually distrupting the bootloader I have burned on there right now
