<xdarklight>
narmstrong: I'm still struggling to see the console output using CVBS *or* HDMI (doesn't work for either of them...) on the 32-bit SoCs. I'm using kmscube and X to verify that the colors are all sent correctly (like: red is really red, ...) and it's perfectly fine in X and kmscube
<xdarklight>
narmstrong: but nothing happens when I'm on the (framebuffer) console or if I'm using some framebuffer tool (like https://github.com/jumpnow/fbtest - running that without args on the Le Potato board makes the whole screen white with the exception of the cursor in the top left corner)
<xdarklight>
narmstrong: what's really strange is that I'm not getting black output via HDMI like I would expect, but instead it's a blue-ish color on the whole screen. first I thought that I got the color output wrong, but I double-checked this multiple times now and in X and kmscube it's all fine
<xdarklight>
narmstrong: does this remind you of something that I should try? I tried switching from RGB to YUV444 (the only other format that my monitor supports) but there the colors are all off (when I start X all black parts are green for example, this doesn't happen with RGB)
