<chewitt> jbrunet: I am reworking my 5.7 patches (removing the common audio dtsi things) .. I am also checking I have latest patches sent to lists
<chewitt> there are two patches that I've picked from your 5.7 branch which I don't find on any mailing lists (so far)
<chewitt> "clk: meson: g12a: fix gp0 and hifi ranges"
<chewitt> "ASoC: meson: imply acodec glue on axg sound card"
<chewitt> did I miss those? (have been submitted) or are these still to submit for 5.8, or ?
<chewitt> so I track status properly..

<la-s> narmstrong: I tried figuring it out myself, but I don't know what to look for. The "rate" for "hdmi" is 24 MHz and has an enable count of 2, but I'm not sure what to do with that.

<narmstrong> la-s: can you dump and post on a pastebin or gist ?
<narmstrong> la-s: you should also have a meson clk msr you can dump to have the real clock frequencies
<la-s> also, I have no idea how to read MSRs
<narmstrong> ` hdmi_pll_od 0 0 0 2964000000 0 0 50000`
<narmstrong> ` hdmi_tx 0 0 0 592800000 0 0 50000`
<narmstrong> means it's outputing YUV420
<la-s> that's what I assumed...
<la-s> thanks
<la-s> that pastebin is deleted? narmstrong
<narmstrong> you can also dump your EDID so I can check, but yeah YUV420 will give blurry output for desktop
<narmstrong> yeah it contained the same as I pushed as message
<la-s> I used read-edid

<narmstrong> Interesting, your monitor could support plain 4k60 but 4:2:0 is selected
<narmstrong> could you try reverting 8496a2172d7cd25d1baa734b756cbee4574d4652 ?
<la-s> Thanks!
