narmstrong: do you know how to erase the eMMC bootloader from amlogic's u-boot? i have a corrupted partition table and can't seem to get amlmmc and mmc to work

lvrp16: did you try to force usb boot or reboot in usb boot from the amlogic uboot and load mainline to erase the emmc ?

narmstrong: i was hoping to find a way to destroy android without having people hook up usb

samueldr was asking me about it for nixos, i tried it myself and could not destroy that bootloader with mmc or amlmmc tools on my specific test

hot plugging is kind of dangerous and I want to stay away from that
