narmstrong: since you asked on Twitter: I am still getting the thin green line on the left side of my display on all GX and GXL boards. The static I described was unique to the NanoPi K2, like I said I had thought it was a hardware defect, but with 5.7.9 it is clear
TheAssassin has quit [Ping timeout: 240 seconds]
TheAssassin has joined #linux-amlogic

Tonymac32: I do not get that on any of my boards with stock 5.7.8 or 5.7.9
vagrantc has quit [Quit: leaving]
<Tonymac32>
lvrp16 that is good to know, we have some "fixes" sprinkled in. The green static on K2, however, was constant in all kernels I've ever run on it

until now

maybe an edid issue? it's giving the wrong offset?
<lvrp16>
or something with the clocks sending the data at the wrong offset?
<Tonymac32>
I'm not sure really, I've sent narmstrong EDID data in the past due to strange behaviors from the Amlogic boards in general
<Tonymac32>
In general 5.7 is working great, just having to revert that upstream patch to the dai link test was annoying.

I have a reboot issue that seems tied to this message xhci-hcd http://xhci-hcd.0.auto: Host halt failed, -110
<Tonymac32>
but until I check to make sure no one snuck a (ignore the http://, twitter copy/paste, it thought it was URL)
<Tonymac32>
until I know there's no adjustments in the patches we apply to that code, I'm not recommending anyone spend time chasing it. I totally derailed my own train of thought there, sorry.
