<chewitt> benoitm974 ping me diff patches of anything that's missing, but the dram quirk is simple
<chewitt> the interesting thing and concern is, the quirk is (or was) believed to be needed only on g12a/g12b devices
<chewitt> the bug is supposed to be fixed in sm1 silicon

<benoitm974> So maybe this is not the right fix but just suppress the message ?

<chewitt> benoitm974 I've seen some issues with SDIO devices on specific board/box devices since 5.10
<chewitt> but not much time to investigate/experiment to see where the issue lies
<chewitt> but, I have that in my branch and it made no difference to the affected devices I have
<chewitt> IIRC the GT-King (non pro) box I have also had the problem
<chewitt> and since that's g12b it already inherits the mmc quirk in device-tree
<chewitt> so it's probably a difference problem to yours
<chewitt> but it's suspicious that multiple different issues surface around the same time
<chewitt> I guess something changed elsewhere in the kernel code, but what/where .. I don't know
<chewitt> perhaps revert that ^ commit from your kernel to see if it harmed anything?

<narmstrong> yes it's fixed in silicon
<narmstrong> benoitm974: can you try this instead ?
<narmstrong> I have some reports saying G12A/G12B & SM1 would need 270deg clock phase, but it's not clear if it's needed on all boards

<benoitm974> narmstrong: I've tried your patch (by the way in the chewitt branch I'm in the CLK_PHASE_270 is not defined which I have define to value "3", and then removed the quirk definition from dts and Ihave the same issue with SDIO https://www.irccloud.com/pastebin/knKLS2Wd/
<benoitm974> same issue it doesn't seems to be due to the CLK PHASE then...

benoitm97479 has quit [Quit: Connection closed]
<benoitm974> by re-enabling the quirk in the dtb and keeping the CLK_PHASE_270 I get fairly good wifi speed
<benoitm974> In the meantime the chinese H9 X3 X8 android tv box came in, very poor quality, 100Mb LAN only, PCB does not have any Serial, I'm sending them back they won't be suitable for the testing
<benoitm974> For the same price the H96Max X3 is far better quality
