<rperier> hi, do you know some rk33xx development boards ? (apparently this is not available yet, but I am not sure)
JohnDoe_71Rus has joined #linux-rockchip
<mmind00> rperier: rk33xx is to broad ;-) ... rk3368 has the geekbox ... and of course rk3399 doesn't have any public boards yet
<rperier> yeah but you can hack with a geekbox ? :)
<mmind00> not sure what "hacking" means in that context. The geekbox does has open schematics and stuff though (http://www.geekbox.tv/) ... and a dts in mainline as well
<rperier> so, this is what "hacking" means in that context, i.e have enough information for development in mainline :)
<mmind00> big issue on the rk3368 might be graphics, but that is more a arm32 <-> arm64 issue, that should resolve itself from rk3399 development already

<mac_l1> :rperier like mmind00 suggests graphics is an issue, especially for GPU support (PowerVR SGX6110) as only Android drivers for kernel 3.10 are available and ImaginationTechnologies is not opensource-minded here related to user space drivers...

<akaizen> mmind00: Do you have a link to your EGL/GLES X11 application running at 60fps from https://community.arm.com/message/28550#28550
<mmind00> akaizen: http://seemore.playcanvas.com in a WebGL-enabled browser
<akaizen> Thanks, did you use Chrome or another browser?
<mmind00> I found a chromium armhf build on some ubuntu repo

<akaizen> mmind00: Do you have a video, I want to replicate your results, would you mind sharing ubuntu/debian version, and which release/commit sha for kernel, libdrm and armsoc? I'm guessing all the ones in your repos on github?
nighty has quit [Quit: Disappears in a puff of smoke]
<mmind00> akaizen: Debian jessy armhf; kernel is my somewhat-stable (https://github.com/mmind/linux-rockchip/tree/devel/somewhat-stable) branch with the rk3288_veyron_defconfig; armsoc-xserver (with Debian packaging https://github.com/mmind/xf86-video-armsoc/tree/packaging/debian); mali-driver (installer package handling integration of the binaries into the system: https://github.com/mmind/mali-driver); libdrm is the system standard

<akaizen> mmind00: Wow! Thank you!! This will help in replicating the results much faster :)
