Ke: I think every modern rockchip soc since the rk3288 can do hardware virtualization. I even ran an ubuntu vm on a rk3399 chromeboot sucessfully. So I would assume on any rk3399 it should pretty much out of a box

Ke: I really didn't do anything special, downloaded the image and then started that with kvm ... mind you that was coreboot ... so your mileage may warry when using u-boot, especially when it's not mainline uboot
