Here we go again
<
alyssa_>
5.0 kernel on Kevin (RK3399), bootup hangs with some dmesg logs but no user prompt.. last lines are
<
alyssa_>
"rockchip-dp: no DP phy configured" and "[sda] No caching mode page found / Assuming drive cache write through"
<
alyssa_>
I have 4.20 working on the machine so I know I can't be
_that_ inept at compiling kernels
<
alyssa_>
The keyboard still works (hooked up thte console) so I know it's alive but

is there a way of identyfiing emmc clk without an oscilloscope?
alyssa_ has left #linux-rockchip [#linux-rockchip]
<
EmilKarlson>
perhaps /sys/kernel/debug/clk/emmc_cardclock/clk_rate
<
mrjay>
EmilKarlson: thanks but i was thinking about emmc clk pin. I should be more precise.
<
mmind00>
mrjay: clk/clk_summary in debugfs? ... should be pretty much the rate emitted on the clk-pin
<
mrjay>
mmind00: i'm was asking because i wan't to get into maskrom mode with pipo p10 and i accidentally bricked device
<
mmind00>
mrjay: ah you mean the pin itself
<
mmind00>
mrjay: that I sadly don't know ... but most of the time there are testpoints on the board
<
mmind00>
mrjay: alternatively, if there these 2 rows of nand-pins, shorting the relevant there also works even if it is an emmc
<
mrjay>
mmind00: sorry for the delay ... yeap i mean pin on board
<
mrjay>
i think i will find someone with oscilloscope because there is no better way to do this

now i need firmware ... does any of you guys have stock firmware for Pipo P10 Tablet?

hanetzer: so, figured out one of the issues was that the c201 coreboot build doesn't seem to support initrd/initramfs
<
vagrantc>
the label on the back is c201p ... as opposed to c201pa ... wonder if that makes a difference
