<xvilka> hi! I have a problem, for some data Decompress library eats too much memory, so much that every time it freezes my computer before I am able to debug it or somehow dump the process
<xvilka> What is the best way to proceed in this case?

<flux[m]> dmbaturin: actually that's sometimes used for legit JSON comments: { "#": "blah", "#": "bleh" } - of course the programs needs to either ignore them or ignore all excess fields ;-)
<flux[m]> I wish json supported actual comments, though. Some parsers do..
<companion_cube> json5!!

<flux[m]> ok, that's it, from now on I'll just call my json-files json5!!-files.
<flux[m]> hmm, or maybe more precisely "subset of json5"
