<meh`> adambeynon, ping
<adambeynon> hi meh`
<meh`> adambeynon, I'm doing what you proposed about the CSS builder
<meh`> but I'm making something cooler
<meh`> and I'll make it a dependency of opal-browser
<meh`> so I can maintain the DSLs and whatnot separately
<adambeynon> nice
<adambeynon> how complete is the dsl stuff for it?
<meh`> well, I just started the port, but I'll reuse most of the stuff in opal-browser, which is fairly complete

<meh`> adambeynon, I forgot, did you get the nested yield working in the end?
<meh`> nested as in, in a block
<adambeynon> meh`: it should be...
<adambeynon> I think
<adambeynon> im sure I fixed it
<adambeynon> nested super is still slightly off
<meh`> and I think my plan can't be done decently
<meh`> I'll keep both in sync in some way ◕ ◡ ◔
<meh`> we'll see
<meh`> adambeynon, we have to fix constant scoping in BasicObject

<adambeynon> meh`: is there much need? Only useful for const_missing isn't it?
<meh`> adambeynon, well, we're having code that runs in Opal but doesn't in Ruby
<meh`> sounds bad

<fkchang> adambeynon: if I wanted to add opal-rspec to rails project, how do I tell it to look in a directly other than spec (i.e. I don't want it run the rails specs)

<fkchang> meh`: what's paggio?
<meh`> fkchang, what I linked above
<meh`> basically the DOM/CSS builders, for normal Ruby
<meh`> so you can use them as renderers
<meh`> if I can, I'll use paggio as dependency in opal-browser
<meh`> because the DSLs are abstracted enough
<fkchang> yeah, I was trying to figure out how this was different than the opal-browser builders
<meh`> they're basically the same :)
<meh`> but it's for normal Ruby
<fkchang> hey, so I read u were interesting in doing meteor-ish stuff w/lissio? paggio could let u use the same templates on both sides
<meh`> fkchang, sincerely, I nearly know nothing about how meteor works, only the general concepts
<meh`> fkchang, personally, I just did paggio because I had to make a simple one page website and I was starting to go with haml/scss, and the workflow would have been irritating
<meh`> so I did this instead
<fkchang> elia: u there?
<elia> kinda
<elia> putting kids to sleep, but ill read
<fkchang> meh`: re: meteor, what I like is same language on both sides, and blurring of front and back ends. Planning to do something similar w/opal on node
<meh`> fkchang, I see, well, sincerely I just care about the protocol and the lissio integration
<fkchang> elia: wondering if you can run opal specs in opal-rails via phantomjs, if you can, I'd use the same technique
<meh`> and then do whatever you want on the backend
