cfbolz changed the topic of #pypy to: PyPy, the flexible snake (IRC logs: https://quodlibet.duckdns.org/irc/pypy/latest.log.html#irc-end ) | use cffi for calling C | if a pep adds a mere 25-30 [C-API] functions or so, it's a drop in the ocean (cough) - Armin

<yitz> So ... pypy is awesome and fast and all that. But ... how's modules work? Is there a way to add a module? Or do I just assume no?
<tumbleweed> it's just like any other python modules
<yitz> Does it use the regular Python lib path?
<yitz> /opt/pypy3/lib-python/3
<yitz> Guess I can just build a package that'll dump the .py module there
<tumbleweed> usually not, but it can (e.g. in Debian it does)
<tumbleweed> so, yes
<yitz> That should be fairly simple
<tumbleweed> or just use virtualenv like normal
<yitz> Eh. I do most stuff with system packages

<tos9> yitz: Neither in CPython nor PyPy should you generally muck directly around with that -- the installer you use would find the right location
<tos9> E.g. pip
