<workmad3>
TTilus: there were some changes internally to rubygems recently (last year or so)... 'gem pristine --all' essentially re-installs all the gems in your gem repo, making sure any new internal structuring is applied

TTilus: the warnings you got are fairly typical of gems from prior to that update being stuck in the repo :)

I had the #{variable} syntax correct, but when I tried to use it with the .split method, I wasn't capturing it within the regex double slashes, so it was being interpreted as a comment, cutting off the rest of the string.
<zenspider>
SDMX: what happened to your space bar? seems to work when you're typing english...
<zenspider>
delim is an array, that's not a good choice for interpolating into a regexp
<zenspider>
don't to_i the result of inject, it's already an int.
<zenspider>
use 2 space indents. never use tabs.
<SDMX>
Unless it's a nil.
<SDMX>
Sorry, That's an issue with sublime text formatting, I suppose. I'll correct that in preferences.
<zenspider>
then pass 0 to the inject for the initial value
<SDMX>
Looking up the correct syntax for .inject. That would be sum.inject(0,:+) ?
<zenspider>
should be, yup
<SDMX>
And the uppercase method name was just part of the assignment, but I didn't know that either. I'll keep that in mind for the future (as well as looking up what "casty" refers to. =] )
