hey folx - I was in here a few weeks ago with a super-weird problem with IO.copy_file was creating zero-byte files in my Docker env. I've managed to do some more debugging and it just gets weirder and weirder the more I look at it... I was wondering if someone else (especially if you're on Arch linux) might like to try my reproduction steps and see if it happens for them too? All the details are

the real problem is using Rack::Test which creates test versions of uploaded files in exactly the way that simple example describes. I can work around it now but it would be good to work out if it's the symptom of something larger

sarna: I alternate between vim and Emacs. I use the Doom distribution of Emacs, and the Ruby support in it is excellent.

I've switched to VS Code... with the vim plugin. I didn't think I'd enjoy it after using vim for a multitude of decades but there's some nice bits.
