adam12: I got odd looks at a burrito joint at lunch when I was saying too loudly that "we should consider bluepill as an alternative to God, and see how God responds to us killing all the Unicorns at once."

Hi, guys! I would like to know how could I specify option pattern to be strict in class OptionParser? For example, option opts.on('—current_version', '—current_version', 'Print current version') {|v| options[:abc] = "something"} will react on all of them —current_version, —current, —curren and —curr.

Does anyone have any excellent ideas on how to turn a YAML file into, for example, CSV, and keep the structure? I have a locale yaml file from a Rails project and want to share it with the client in a way that they can edit strings and I can export it back out to YAML
<gueorgui>
Was thinking of putting it in an Airtable for example
<gueorgui>
Hmm I guess I could put together a rake task with the airtable gem and the yaml gem

gueorgui: Airtable might be best. An alternative is to maybe stick it into an sqlite3 db and then see if you can find a nice client for them to use like this one: https://sqlitebrowser.org/

adam12: Went with Airtable in the end :)
<gueorgui>
Converted my i18n yaml into a hash, and then that into a one-dimensional hash with a dot path as the key
<gueorgui>
Exported that to csv and uploaded to airtable
<gueorgui>
Now writing a rake task to bring back updated data...

How do you install gems when in the ruby command line?
<CommunistWolf>
I'd probably cheat with `gem install ...`
<CommunistWolf>
I'm sure there's an API for it, but I donm't know it
