nolan_d: I'm back home with my device that I've tested standaloneGrains on, and trying to reproduce your issue. I'll note that I've never tried using standaloneDomains with sandcats, or with Sandstorm listening on multiple ports.
<zarvox>
nolan_d: I have verified that based on the /shared/<token> link working you have the right data in the database for standalone grains, and that the token is indeed a webkey, so now I'm digging through the code to see if I can figure out why things aren't doing what we want them to
<zarvox>
nolan_d: can you elaborate a little more on what your TLS setup looks like? I notice that you have TLS for new.lareunioncoop.org and that you're using sandcats for the wildcard host - is new.lareunioncoop.org a reverse proxy, and what port is it proxying to?
<zarvox>
my working hypothesis is that requests are coming in on a "non main port", and Sandstorm is treating them as though they could only possibly need to get routed to grains directly, but standalone grains still need to get routed through Meteor because grains rely on having a parent frame for e.g. login popover and session keepalives
<zarvox>
blah, routing requests for https and http and sometimes reverse proxying and sometimes not and sometimes on a central domain and sometimes not is hard <_<
