Credit where credit's due, despite my irritation with the HTTPS Everywhere nonsense, the Google Chrome "not secure" thing coming finally encouraged my legacy web host to put in support for Let's Encrypt.

There are a fair number of apps which "work as is" and have not gotten new updates because nobody is maintaining them for Sandstorm.
<ocdtr_web>
There are a few I am personally planning on tackling for various reasons, but my todo list is long and my free time is short.

I actually have a blog on Sandstorm using Ghost, but I do not do a lot with it, and so it "works well enough" for my purposes.

Indeed it does
<sy>
i wonder if there is even that much difference to the latest release
<ocdtr_web>
sy: I don't know, I've only used the Sandstorm version! But I think there is.

In :most cases: the upgrade is usually not super difficult, you merge the latest code, figure out how it broke the Sandstorm version, fix it, and then test to make sure it updates old grains correctly.
