<isd> Looking around at prices for suitable Sandstorm boxes has convinced me we start talking about arm support more seriously. It's big project, but you're seriously looking at 10x the price, if not more, to get an x86 box that will run sandstorm vs. an rpi (with plenty of ram). Being able to run it on n rpi would be a big deal from an adoption standpoint, I think.
<isd> we should start
<abliss> +1
<JacobWeisz[m]> I think when people first asked about it, the low RAM of a RasPi made it mostly impractical anyways.
<JacobWeisz[m]> With RasPi 4s it seems a lot more reasonable.
<abliss> though i will say that my intel stck1a32wfc has been doing an admirable job of serving my (admittedly minimal) sandstorm needs. And you can Buy One Now for $64.95 on ebay.
<abliss>
<JacobWeisz[m]> Also, the top of HN today says RasPi can boot of something that isn't garbage for the first time ever too.
<JacobWeisz[m]> s/of/off
