<bluezinc> azonenberg: it turns out that's usually more of a "fewer parts = less systems engineering headache for MILSPEC qualification"
<bluezinc> it's more expensive, a more complex process, and all of the companies that make embedded resistor films want to make you throw yourself off a bridge.
