<azonenberg> v0.5 probe PCBs are now on the way back from fab
<azonenberg> should have them by the weekend
<azonenberg> these are the ones with an intentionally too-high impedance to see how that affects things
<azonenberg> additionally i've been donig a ton more simulation of the current probe design working to fine tune things
<azonenberg> should have results from that soon
<azonenberg> The nice thing about using actual RF resistors like the vishay ones i've been working with is that you can find s2p's on the vendor website
<azonenberg> So no more cutting and pasting of giant RLC equivalent circuits

<bvernoux> hello
<bvernoux> I have good news on my VNA Qt (for HP 8753... VNA)
<bvernoux> using internal raw data for S-parameters the time is improved significantly
<bvernoux> before with FORM4 for all S-params (with Corr enabled) it take 48s and now with FORM1(internal raw data) it take 34s
<bvernoux> also the optimized conversion from FORM1 Internal Data to Double I & Q take less than 2ms ;)
<bvernoux> for all points
<bvernoux> I will probably add a very nice Smith Chart display too in order to display the S-parameters ...
<bvernoux> (using qzplot)
