<azonenberg> although there's a 50 ohm termination at the input which i imagine provides some level of protection

<azonenberg> But i've never had any history of esd problems in my lab thanks to the grounded floor
<azonenberg> it's not like, say, a GMR HDD head where 50V of ESD will kill it

<azonenberg> I mean, i wouldn't want to find out but there's probably clamp diodes that would handle that
