Hi everyone, can I ask something here, do anybody knows ARM Linux Internet Platform (ALIP)? I download it from linaro.org, why there is no APT-GET in Linaro-ALIP,then how can I install software packages to Linaro-ALIP?

can XBMC run on Linux-sunxi A20 SoC with hw acceleration?
<welchan0s>
when I look at the URL which mnemoc posted, there is a security warning. Does that mean it's dangerous to make the Cubietruck hardware corrupt? is there any step-by-step HowTo for installing these drivers onto a Cubietruck with A20 so I could run XBMC with hardware acceleration?
<wens>
welchan0s: it means anyone can access all memory through the display driver

andoma: afaik currently nove, wingrime, jemk on reverse engineering Cedarx. libvdpau-sunxi and the mpeg/jpeg pocs was coded by jemk. but libvdpau won't be improved any further as it was intended to be a quick and easy poc. iirc he is working on some kind of cedrus drivers from scratch atm. correct me guys, if i'm wrong :p

I assume the kernel (for the olimex a10 LIME) has the usb audio interface modules built? or do I need to _just_ recompile the kernel?

Lumocolor: ask olimex for what they defined by default, if you can - recompile kernel with latest version from linux-sunxi and select what you need by hand.
