not really. It's messy on the X86 laptops as the EC is usually using the same flash memory. In this case the EC has it's own built in mask rom.

slapin, page read commands annoys me. Seems to do what they shuould up to 2 sectors, but have to reset the controller to access the result, ram locked out otherwise.
