<wolfy>
what could be the reason that a cubie2 (running linaro from nand) boots in 1280x720p even if script.bin has screen0_output_mode = 10 ( 1920x1080p)?
<wolfy>
while booting I see that it reads the EDID and the desired mode is there,

bircoe: I personaly would prefer something like "PCB with ARM and all external chips to be able to use all resources of that ARM, without a single connector"

bircoe: thing is that I would like thing PCB and ability to put connectors (USB, ethernet, jacks, power source) like 2cm from the board itself?
<SquirrelCZECH>
in the plastic parts of the machine...
<bircoe>
yep, I know what you're thinking...
<SquirrelCZECH>
and of course have the abillity to not use them at all
<bircoe>
I wanted the same with Raspberry Pi...
<SquirrelCZECH>
P.S: It woudln't be good base for tablet, woudln't be? :
<SquirrelCZECH>
:D
<bircoe>
I wish there were half as much community support for the cubieboards/trucks as there is for the Pi.... might have a chance in hell of getting an OpenELEC port then :)
<SquirrelCZECH>
:D
<SquirrelCZECH>
just wait :-)

bircoe: but double-usb and ethernet connector ruined by idea making homemade tablet
<bircoe>
I only pulled the trigger on this last week, untill now I was using Pi's
<bircoe>
that kinda sucks :)
<SquirrelCZECH>
yep
<SquirrelCZECH>
And I don't feel like soldering them out or anything
<bircoe>
it would be a bit crap... those ground planes are usually a bastard to get enough heat into!
<SquirrelCZECH>
more like I don't have unsoldering equipment
<SquirrelCZECH>
:-)

if i want to make my own image for cubietruck, do i need patches for the kernel? in particular, how can i get a hold of the binary driver for mali? and is someone aware of how production-ready limare is?
