<CubieFAQ>
vga-lvds-tv: VGA/LVDS/TV outputs are available on the 2mm headers. To make use of them you need to add the resistors/buffers and connector required by the interface you want to use. Cubieboard only supports two displays at the same time and some pins are shared between VGA/LVDS/TV. You have to provide the interface hardware *and* properly configure the pins to which it is attached.

<wolfy>

the community u-boot-sunxi by default support /boot from a single extX partition

but I assume I have to install it in the NAND. So far I've repartitioned the nand ( 1 large partition ) and I've copied all the content from the sdcard to nand1 . At boot now I get http://www.fpaste.org/53422/38425229/

Hello, is there anybody who already tried to use the watchdog (under linux) to reset the Cubieboard2 if it hangs?
<eltom_>
Hello Guys, i have been trying to boot a Mainline Kernel on my new Cubietruck but i have not been successfull so far. The U-Boot will hang at Starting Kernel and won't continue, does anybody have experience in this?
<eltom_>
I have used the Kernelsource from the sunxi-next repository and compiled the corresponding dub file for the Cubietruck
<eltom_>
The Kernelconfig i have taken from the working sunxi-3.4 Kernel
<mnemoc>
with mainline, or sunxi-next or sunxi-devel use sunxi_defconfig
<mnemoc>
3.4 and mainline have very little in common
* eltom_
I have tried that in the beginning and it didn't work at least i think i did, i compiled so many Kernels with so many defconfig's :)i will try again to make sure and will let you know in a couple of minutes
<eltom_>
do i need a special u-boot for Mainline and sunxi-next ?
<eltom_>
Used u-boot latest for cubietruck and linux-sunxi-next latest from the link you posted, the board unfortunately is again Hanging at Starting Kernel
