<mntmn> i rebuilt my mesa, xserver/xwayland and wlroots/sway stack from scratch and now i have this problem on imx8mq http://dump.mntmn.com/screenshot-2020-05-29-21-51-28.png
<mntmn> rootless xwayland windows are garbled, something related to tiling maybe?
<mntmn> rooted xwayland looks fine for some reason
<cphealy> I saw something like that before many months ago. It went away with an update of Mesa so I don't know what the issue was or the fix. From my experience though, this does not look like a tiling issue but possibly a DEC400 compression issue or something else.
<mntmn> btw is nir on by default nowadays?
<mntmn> looks like this will be a friday night of mesa bisecting... sigh

<mntmn> problem happens in weston as well. going back to mesa 19.3 doesn't fix it, weird.
