<whitequark> electronic_eel: looking
<whitequark> electronic_eel: can we use the same Vreg as on glasgow itself?
<whitequark> electronic_eel: and the I2C extenders
<whitequark> that also allows you to cut the discrete transistors for the analog switches
<whitequark> since PCA6408 is 5V tolerant
<whitequark> other than that seems ok to me
<whitequark> not sure about the local i2c pullups, might exceed the spec of fx2?
<whitequark> combined with the ones on glasgow
<whitequark> marcan: meow
<hellsenberg> I just got a video capture card that is just an AD9984A and a FX2LP, and that's it. O_o
<whitequark> do you need anythign else?
<hellsenberg> I never imagined the FX2 would be so versatile
<whitequark> well that's kinda why it's so popular

<tnt> Not sure yet how useful that is ... https://imgur.com/a/BgDGER9 Also haven't yet figured out a good way to deal with the leds, they are ... close to each other.
<whitequark> Greg Davill has an existing design
<tnt> Heh, it wasn't in the repo :p
<whitequark> yes
<whitequark> i keep asking him to submit it...
<whitequark> and i never got the top half of the box too
<tnt> Oh well, it's done now and it was mostly to practice so. I'll print it Sunday and see how it fits.
<tnt> How did he deal with the leds ?
<whitequark> no idea :) i didn't get the top half of it
<tnt> Arf :) So far my best idea is to use bits of plastic fiber optic (like used for TOSLink).
<whitequark> Greg would probably cast some acrylic or something crazy like that :D
<tnt> lol right.
