did anybody see my conversation yesterday

CoolCmos: I read it, seems like you need to talk to a microelectronics prof
<CoolCmos>
thanks for commenting
<CoolCmos>
i took computer engineering
<CoolCmos>
and did self study on vlsi
<CoolCmos>
i have 4 college texts on vlsi
<CoolCmos>
they all talk about very expensive equipment
<CoolCmos>
im trying to find a way to do it inexpensively
<CoolCmos>
my micro prof wasnt so good
<nmz787>
i understand, I think you need to talk to a professor who knows basic oxide states and such
<CoolCmos>
im thinking i might contact my old chem prof
<nmz787>
also it sounded like you might have been proposing an alternative mechanism of action, using magnetics somehow... if so, you'll need to talk to someone who is an expert on magnetics/para-magnetics
<nmz787>
I might also encourage you to look into DNA computing, systems biology
<CoolCmos>
the fields are so spererated, i was thinking its and EM issue, but most EM people deal with RF signals
<nmz787>
you might find some analogous stuff
<CoolCmos>
i think i need to research more on galvanazation
<CoolCmos>
i just need to firnd out specs, on heat humidity and EM
<CoolCmos>
if it is possible
<CoolCmos>
the idea is that heat and humidity can do the galvanazation with an appropriate EM field
<CoolCmos>
provided that boron or phosphorus implantation does actualy provide a galvanic affect as hypotheised
<nmz787>
so the crystal/oxide state you want to achieve is possible already right?
<CoolCmos>
what do you mean
<nmz787>
you're saying it will just become silicon dioxide?
<nmz787>
or you are trying to program a certain magnetic charge to that atom/group of atoms
<nmz787>
?
<CoolCmos>
im saying that the hypothesis is that the silicon can affectively be dopped using this method
<CoolCmos>
and npn or pnp
<CoolCmos>
transistors could be created
<CoolCmos>
its not realy a magnetic charge its a charge carrier differential
<CoolCmos>
im thinking tho this would have to be TTL not cmos tho
<nmz787>
any reason to think why big industry hasn't thought of it already?
<nmz787>
they've already moved past it's limitations?
<CoolCmos>
simple answer.. JOBS
<CoolCmos>
if the people with jobs made tech so easy it would put them out of a job would they make it
<CoolCmos>
you go to college for 4 years get a bachelor then 2 more and get a masters or 4 more and get a PHD
<CoolCmos>
then work at low pay for 4 years geting shoved around in crapy positions. finaly get a decent paying job where you could make future tech.. would you make it in a way that would put you back below the bottom
<CoolCmos>
people learned a lesson from COMMODORE
<CoolCmos>
commodore was the best computer ever..
<CoolCmos>
everybody put in all they had thinking theyd get profitable return
<CoolCmos>
engineers put in it al
<CoolCmos>
all
<CoolCmos>
who got paid
<CoolCmos>
the investors
<CoolCmos>
when jobs failed to be created, the engineers quite coorporating
<CoolCmos>
and the company went to the bottom
<CoolCmos>
i may have big ideas, but the buck stops with the scientists and engineers
<CoolCmos>
we need more profiting scientists
<CoolCmos>
and engineers
<CoolCmos>
the world would be a better place
<CoolCmos>
if they all made top dollar wages, think of the tech wed have
<CoolCmos>
the business men making the money dont care about tech except that they have the most expensive of what evers available
<CoolCmos>
more like it being a show piece is its value to them, not realy care that it can do better
<CoolCmos>
i mean, if i realy wanted a royls royce id have to save alot and it would have value to me, some rich business man may have one and it wouldnt have real value to him
<CoolCmos>
he might even have 3 or 4 of them jut to show off
<CoolCmos>
money drives business men, places we can go drive scientists
<CoolCmos>
business men drive scientists to take us fewwer places
<CoolCmos>
because business men can fly by night if scientists give them that option
<CoolCmos>
another example related to this is in the 1960s where GE sold computers for a large sum, but after being approached by people (hippies) who wanted access to the computers and they refused the hippies influential parents (rich powerful ones) threatened legal actions.. the company who was bent on selling the computer and support technical advisors unofficialy sold the stripped down models of the computer (kinda like they fell of t
<CoolCmos>
i found an expert form on google, i think im gona post
