also not sure if anyone can help me since unofficial but im fairly sure its just modified from the upstream build scripts, where does upstream LE put the script(s) for making images
<lainlives>
id like to disable making images for the other devices (its generating for every device this port supports)
<chewitt>
add UBOOT_SYSTEM=device to the make command and it will only output that specific device, not cycle though all RK devices
<chewitt>
replace 'device' with whatever device it is .. from scripts/uboot_helper
<lainlives>
ahh this build is using extlinux boot uboot is working on this platform though shouldnt be too hard to get working
<lainlives>
im also having an issue with infrared, i patched it, it seems to be working but ive no idea how to load a config made with irrecord and have kodi utilize it
<lainlives>
yeah its confusing because i have no choice but to do the 'hard' method and it seems to break down at the end where it tells you how to use what you recorded
<lainlives>
hmm i guess i should find the upstream sources real quick im sure it has the samples that i seem to be missing
<lainlives>
hmm i cant seem to find any examples of what its even supposed to look like
<lainlives>
well i can make a config that loads with -c -w but it wont load with -a or at boot by setting the default
buzzmarshall has quit [Remote host closed the connection]
<lainlives>
yeah the bit about setting defaults is either incorrect or the tutorial is incomplete
<lainlives>
i cannot set my config as default
<lainlives>
and this is unfortunately the most complete resource on the tool
<lainlives>
oh i found the issue, maybe its just the version of ir-keymaps im using, but i _MUST_ specify the driver for it to load
<lainlives>
cannot use the wildcard on the driver
<lainlives>
chewitt: well thanks for making me read it again, that plus finally finding an example of rc_maps.cfg in a real world example helped me out
<lainlives>
https://paste.centos.org/view/3a8e2152 wow efficient, its currently rendering my least efficient h.265 file (one im too lazy to reencode to actually sane settings)
