I find it interesting that the mali blob on zynqmp doesn't seem to suffer from the dEQP failures due to GPU crashes and inability to restart within a context

Marex: it doesn't, lima marks context as tainted deliberately

you can patch kernel driver to disable it but from my experience it results in series of gpu errors from the same context

Marex: 1) blob likely doesn't hit gpu errors, gpu error means that driver did something wrong 2) IIRC blob doesn't mark context as tainted on GPU error

anarsoul: well none really, if I run dEQP-GLES2* I get like 550 failures and you mentioned it's because of the GPU hangs
