<champagneg> hi, is there a compatibility matrix between mesa and the lima kernal modules? It seems B5G6R5 support was added at some point in mesa, i'm wondering if that required some changes in the kernel module?
<anarsoul> it didn't require any changes in kernel driver
<champagneg> ok, cool. Thanks. I'll upgrade to mesa master, I was on 19.2 with kernel 5.4
<anarsoul> you should probably upgrade your kernel as well
<anarsoul> 5.7 has dynamic tile heap support
<champagneg> Not too familiar with the graphic stack, but this would reduce memory usage? I'm trying to not diverge for xilinx' kernel branch, so the kernel is "harder" to upgrade

<anarsoul> champagneg: yes, it will
<champagneg> ok, thx, i'll keep that in mind
