@all Hi, I am using Ubuntu 20.04 with vanilla kernel 5.7.0-rc7 with Lima enabled, running kmscube, I have seen that under /dev/dri there are two card and two render device nodes available, why this :D ?

AreaScout: on Amlogic SoCs there are also two cards in /dev/dri - one for lima and another one for the VPU (display controller with HDMI and CVBS outputs). not sure about render nodes though

it'll be similar for all SoCs because the Mali GPUs don't have a built-in display controller (meaning there should be always two cards, one for lima and another one for the actual display outputs)
