<narmstrong> xdarklight: the uboot version on the saradc driver had been merged !
<narmstrong> It still misses some bits

<xdarklight> narmstrong: nice :) - which bits are still missing?

<narmstrong> xdarklight: nothing on the adc side, only the clock controller driver
jakogut has quit [Client Quit]
<narmstrong> But I made it work with the default clock registers settings so it’s ok !

<xdarklight> narmstrong: ah I see, still good that someone chose sane register defaults :)
<narmstrong> Yep hopefully !

<webczat> how to test mmc discard stuff?
<webczat> i mean apart from enabling it and triggering it, how to ensure it did not break anything
<xdarklight> webczat: I would ask that question on the linux-mmc mailing list - from my experience the people there are very helpful

<webczat> xdarklight: well, okay. i will do it at some time
<webczat> xdarklight: actually tbh can i meaningfully test on a sdcard? like the same driver and stuff, or there is a big risk that they will work differently?

<xdarklight> webczat: I believe that SD cards can also support the erase command. but as far as I know there's a bit which has to be set by the card's manufacturer which enables erase support
<webczat> ah
<webczat> but I do not want to accidentally destroy my poor os. I currently have no os there but i need at least bits of it to test erase. :)
<webczat> not sure if you can do on uboot. even amlogic/hardkernel uboot for some reason could not do erase
<webczat> i have tried.
