<ndufresne> narmstrong, any specific reason why none of the meson dts sets dr_mode to otg ?
<ndufresne> I'm fully new to this, but I'm left under the impression that it should be supported, and automatically detect

<Yardanico> narmstrong: ok, it boots amlogic custodian uboot that way! thanks! what type of script (or name) should I use to tell mainline uboot what to load? right now it tries to set up ethernet and load some stuff from pxelinux.cfg directory
ldevulder has quit [Ping timeout: 252 seconds]
<narmstrong> Yardanico: mainline uboot can handle a boot.scr script or extlinux or EFI on sdcard or usb and fallback to pxe Ethernet boot
<Yardanico> narmstrong: oh, thanks, I'll check out the boot.scr

<Yardanico> narmstrong: thank you for all your help, I think I managed to boot generic arch linux arm armv8 image with it's own kernel (although 5.2.5-1, will update to 5.3.1-1 now). I also think I burned my own esp8266 (which I used for uart), but mainline uboot has netconsole so I used that instead :)
<narmstrong> Nice to read !

<Yardanico> btw, is it possible to use proprietary mali drivers with s912?
<Yardanico> well, I think I should try panfrost first (recompiling the kernel with 4 panfrost-related commits applied)
<narmstrong> Yardanico: but no userspace blob available except for Android
<narmstrong> So panfrost is the only option for s912
<Yardanico> oh

<GNUtoo> hi,
<GNUtoo> is there some information somewhere on what are the binaries referenced in README.libretech-cc in upstream u-boot?
