jbrunet: ok now that I've read a bit about syscon (yeah a bit too late for v2). It looks like those shared registers between MIPI and PCIE are in a syscon node. Maybe instead of introducing another partially implemented PHY driver I could just get reference to these shared registers with syscon_regmap_lookup_by_compatible in the PCIE only PHY driver and remove this chimera of MIPI/PCIE PHY.
