bashintosh: the CPU operating points are SoC specific typically
<sjoerd`>
It just says what voltage needs to get supplied for a given frequency
<bashintosh>
sjoerd`: sorry - forgot to mention that I am working on RK3288. There is a Rockchip R-BOX SDK (old, I think) which has various DT files named rk3288-box.xxxx - I think this was an older RK reference design for HDMI sticks. Such design uses PMIC ACT8846 - the closest thing I have found in recent kernels is rk3288-evb.xxxx which is for RK EValuationBoard:
<sjoerd`>
firefly and square to also use the act8846
<bashintosh>
Seems like there are various HW differences between RK R-BOX and EVB designs, so the related DT are quite different. Porting an older rk3288-box.xxxx DT to a recent kernel it's a bit of a mission so I am looking for the closest thing to adapt. Possibly the Firefly DT - I have just tested this, kinda boots but still many errors that need to be looked at.
<sjoerd`>
bashintosh: If it's a dtb from the rockchip kernel then yeah..
<bashintosh>
sjoerd`: what's square? Radxa?
<sjoerd`>
A lot of stuff in their device-tree isn't standard
<sjoerd`>
bashintosh: yeah RAdxa rock2 square
<bashintosh>
right! Will look at that too!

Hey ,how can I check if I have rockchip 3066 or 3188 ?
<kubast2>
Nand modules ,cpu-z ,proc/cpuinfo ,dmesg give me quiet mixed result about it
