<sesami> hello, i'm newcomer to this community.
nighty- has quit [Ping timeout: 255 seconds]
<sesami> my linux on rk3229 box hangs exactly after 30 seconds, anyone help me?
<paulk-gagarine> wdt?
<paulk-gagarine> well, it would reboot
<paulk-gagarine> nevermind
<Ke> sesami: how exactly, what is your instrumentation?
Omegamoon has quit [Ping timeout: 276 seconds]

<stdint> I don't think so, the rk3229 wdt is disabled at default
<stdint> I think it is the power save, I really hate the mechanism from android
<Omegamoon> sesami, can you run dmesg after bootup and share the output?
<sesami> Omegamoon: I think dmesg is not important, its just normal kernel output.
<sesami> anyway i'll send you...

<ayaka> mmind00, if I want to add new pinctrl in device tree, I should use RK_P* format or pure digital number?

<mmind00> ayaka: RK_P* is the preferred method for new entries
<ayaka> mmind00, OK, I see, I am adding some for the rockpro64
<ayaka> thank you

<ayufan> ayaka: what you do with rockpro? :)
<ayaka> ayufan, nothing, just move the one push to rockhip kernel 4.4 to upstream
<ayaka> ayufan, just somebody in libreELEC want that
<ayufan> ah, ok :)
<ayufan> how stable is for you rockpro64?
<ayufan> I'm having troubles with 4.4 kernel, it seems crazy not stable for me :(
<ayaka> btw, I clean some thing from yours and reorder
<ayaka> ayufan, quite stable, I am very happy with that
<ayufan> on my kernel?
<ayufan> 4.4 or mainline?
<ayaka> not, at rockchip
<ayufan> you mean rockchip-4.4, or my wariant of rockchip-4.4? :)
<ayufan> (variant)
<ayaka> I just try the latest kernel next, it would work, in my memory, a week version would work for the other board
<ayaka> rockchip's kernel 4.4
<ayufan> ok, I'm having troubles with something that resembles memory corruption / or undervoltage
<ayufan> there's not a lot of them
<ayaka> I think you disable the dmc or dfi
<ayufan> well, without dmc/dfi is even worse
<ayaka> but in my memory, without it would work for me
<ayaka> how unstable is it in your place?
<ayufan> quite
<ayaka> ayufan, I have play lots of video on it
<ayaka> maybe a wrong ddr file
<ayufan> well, I doubt
<ayufan> did you change something else compared to my dts?
<ayaka> what is your timezone, let me finish the check upstream status today
<ayaka> ayufan, some power settings I think
<ayaka> let me force on your problem at morning
<ayaka> ayufan, you may disable dvfs driver at kernel as well
<ayufan> I would glad if someone could take a look, maybe I'm not seeing something :)

<ayaka> would you be online at afternoon of UTC+8?
<ayufan> I will be in home, but probably meeting with friends, as this is Sat

<ayaka> ayufan, maybe Monday, let stdint help you
<ayaka> I give up rockpro64 for upstream today, it will hang at a short time

<ezequielg> mmind00: do you have the iommu/drm stall fix on your plate?
<mmind00> ezequielg: yep ... if I remember correctly, there simply some wording changes pending?
jwerner has quit [Remote host closed the connection]
<ezequielg> mmind00: s/WARN/pr_warn_once, as the WARN in the top half handler is frowned upon.
<ezequielg> that is the most relevant change, imho.
<ezequielg> gotta go!

<fysa> having some issues with rendering Chromium (bionic ayufan linux-rock64 0.6.44) - laggy, painful scrolling, YouTube not great .. FF 66 is miles better .. am I missing something with Chromium? I do get ERROR:gl_surface_egl.cc(320)] eglChooseConfig failed with error EGL_BAD_ATTRIBUTE while starting chromium-browser from the command line
<fysa> (sorry, FF 60)
<fysa> libmali-rk-utgard-450-r7p0/bionic,now 1.6-1ayufan10 is installed, using armsoc
<fysa> AIGLX fails and reverts to software, which I believe is correct. IGLX: enabled GLX_MESA_copy_sub_buffer and GLX: DRISWRAST GL maybe the problem?
