Re the Cr50 fuss, from the software side I can confirm that the chip is not in use on Kevin (also RK3399, like Bob). `hwinfo` yields information about `tpm_i2c_infineon`; crosschecking information about CrOS and Infineon yields https://sites.google.com/a/chromium.org/dev/chromium-os/tpm_firmware_update.
<alyssa--->
That list includes Kevin (and Veyrons, etc) as using Infineon -- not the new chip. Bob (which is shown to have the Cr50 in previous articles) is absent from the list. Presumably the two chips are mutually exclusive.

alyssa---: fwiw my unit, where i found the thing, is a 'bob' (c101pa) .

and yes it replaces infineon.
<asciilifeform>
( however has much more interesting functionality, given as it sits in the middle of spi and i2c buses )

asciilifeform: which "previous articles" do you think I was referring to? :P
