<hmuller> that is currently not working mainline, but is an easy fix
<anarsoul> hmuller: see de43ca7e3ee4b71793880b540bb3b958a02e6c04
<anarsoul> you likely need something similar for PBP

<vagrantc> hmuller: i worked on the patches to support those
<vagrantc> hmuller: the installer-team does the actual building... in cron jobs
<hmuller> thx, had a question and wanted to know who to send it to
<vagrantc> hmuller: irc.oftc.net #debian-boot
<hmuller> I appreciate your time and the pointer

<topi`> I'm trying to make the kernel recognise the PHY iface on this RK3288-based box here. It fails to detect its type correctly. Why is this?
<topi`> if I print the phy->interface out, I get value 3. Which maps to PHY_INTERFACE_MODE_SGMII, in phy_interface_t
<topi`> I thought what we have should be RGMII
<topi`> is this something controlled from within the dts?

<mani_s> dlezcano, For me v5.9.0-rc7 just boots fine: https://pastebin.ubuntu.com/p/S6SWXNsNvM/
<mani_s> I haven't modified any kernel configs. Used plain defconfig and I don't see any console issue w/ mmc
<mani_s> did you modify the config?
<macc24> anyone got any idea why usb doesn't work on mainline kernel and px30/rk3326? config: https://github.com/Maccraft123/deb-to-go/blob/master/res/linux-config
vicencb has quit [Quit: Leaving.]
<dlezcano> mani_s, I only removed all platform support except rockchip
<dlezcano> mani_s, do you have a mmc card inserted ?
<dlezcano> mani_s, I have a mmc card + usb ethernet plugged in

<hmuller> I'm looking at mainline u-boot/arch/arm/dts/rk3399-pinebook-pro.dts, wondering why vin-supply for vdd_cpu_b & vdd_gpu both point to vcc_1v8
<anarsoul> compare it with the kernel
<anarsoul> u-boot doesn't even use these and kernel has its own dts
<hmuller> that's interesting, I was under the impression that u-boot.itb included a dtb generated partially from that
