<

it's a power user interface, you just don't get it ;)
<
larsc>
I guess the problem is that it is hard to come up with a good interface
<
whitequark>
how do you remove traces?
<
larsc>
right click + cut
<
whitequark>
lolwhat
<
whitequark>
so it's just bad then.
<
larsc>
I think pressing 'Del' might work as well
<
larsc>
ok, it does not

gtkwave's UI is terrible. But sigrok's VCD support is also pretty bad
<
cr1901_modern>
I'm ALMOST tempted to make sigrok's VCD support complete so I don't have to use GTKWave again
<
whitequark>
ehhhh, pulseview has many papercuts too
<
larsc>
but it has a burger menu
<
larsc>
when it comes to featues gtkwave is still miles ahead
<
whitequark>
well, unlike most other things in kde, running pulseview on tablets actually makes sense
<
larsc>
and to be honst I got used to most of the quirks
<
larsc>
pulseview is great for decoding
<
whitequark>
"I got used to most of the quirks" is how terrible software keeps being terrible for decades
<
larsc>
and decoder stacking
<
larsc>
whitequark: I did sent a patch!
<
cr1901_modern>
Just be careful not to exhaust your memory :D
<

10 years ago or so...
<
cr1901_modern>
Is it still even developed?
