<companion_cube>
that is why I always start with /query <someone>
<companion_cube>
and then talk
<companion_cube>
(similarly, I never let IRC open on a given channel but on the status buffer, in case I type a password in)

companion_cube, a tip I read: use / as the first character of your password :-)

<zozozo>
flux: and maybe use a valid absolute path to a bin so that it doesn't get recorded in the bash history in case you type it into a terminal instead of irc ? :p
<companion_cube>
flux: heh
<companion_cube>
zozozo: but it would be recorded then?
<zozozo>
companion_cube: why would it not ? iirc all commands are recorded in bash history
<companion_cube>
yes, so I don't get your point :s
<kakadu>
commands strating from space are not recorded (I think?)
<zozozo>
well, if somewhere in your bash history there is a not valid command that looks like a password..
<kakadu>
but passwords starting from space are not IRC commands
<flux>
you could use ' ' as your irc command character as wel ;)
<kakadu>
hmmmm
<flux>
well, at least if your client supports that kind of customization

hi, newbie question here. While getting familiar with the language some books and docs make references to Core's List.map2_exn. Whilst in the online documentation for Core shows rev_map2_exn when browsing the documentation via ocp-browser (using the -I flag to load core) I only see List.rev_map2. is that the same thing?
<mrgrieves>
infinity0: Thanks, yes that's seems to be what I get out of the box whenever I run ocp-browser

i'm a bit confuse with having multiple "std" libs at my disposal
<infinity0>
i mean, you could compare the API documentation between the two, to see if they are the same. yeah that's an unfortunate situation at the moment :(
<mrgrieves>
infinity0: thanks again

Something less than 2k LOC that deals with a problem domain that's not obscure. Hopefully something that sees wide-spread use and is considered high quality. I know that's not really specific, but I'm trying to get a feel for what non-trivial idiomatic code looks like, not anything in a specific problem space.
