I don't know how many people here are interested in Reason or in ReasonReact, but this allows one to use signals to produce components, abstracting away ReasonReact's reduce-style programming

Does anybody know how to use core_kernel's seq with Ocamlgraph's iter_vertex's?
<SomeDamnBody>
I would like to be able to terminate iter_vertex or some other function, and make it lazy with Seq.

I don't, but it seems fairly easy. Did you give it a try? If so, I can take a look if it's not working.
<orbifx[m]>
I looked into it yesterday and got there, but Lwt's `catch` requires a function where unit is passed, where as App.start needs something else

hey guys i'm having some trouble with opam (installing lwt)
<barcabuona>
and this finally is the log indicated by DEBUG: https://pastebin.com/WTgBgG9Y (it is what i can assume to be the compilation error)
<barcabuona>
Drup: archlinux
<Drup>
I think the simplest solution is to avoid the "system" switch
<reynir>
Yea, the system switch on archlinux is just breakage waiting to happen
fraggle_ has joined #ocaml
<barcabuona>
i'm afraid i don't really know what that is
<reynir>
opam switch --help
<barcabuona>
it says i'm using System compiler 4.05.0
<barcabuona>
but the latest is 4.06.0
<barcabuona>
so i should switch to the latest one you say?
<reynir>
no, I would suggest you use opam switch install to install whatever version. Then all your opam packges won't break every time the system/pacman compiler is upgraded
<barcabuona>
this is because archlinux compiler is often broken?
sz0 has joined #ocaml
<reynir>
no
<reynir>
it's because opam doesn't expect the compiler changing under its feet so to speak
<barcabuona>
so I need to reset opam's state?
dogui has quit [Ping timeout: 255 seconds]
<barcabuona>
or install a manual compiler
<reynir>
uh yea, I guess you could reinstall all packages after each system compiler upgrade
<reynir>
But a 'manual' compiler is far more convenient, I would say

is 4.06 released yet?
TheLemonMan has quit [Quit: "It's now safe to turn off your computer."]
<reynir>
barcabuona: there's been a transition from mutable strings to immutable strings. 4.06 makes immutable strings the default IIRC, and I guess zed isn't up to date on that
<barcabuona>
i figured it was something like that thanks
kakadu_ has quit [Remote host closed the connection]
<barcabuona>
well i just installed 4.05.0 with opam switch and now it workd
<barcabuona>
thanks guys

barcabuona, "4.05" is probably a good choice; 4.06 is being officially released right now … so it is a bit early to use this version and expect stability
