<freemint> Regenaxer I've thought about extending httpGate but i turned put nginx is just mighty enough for what i had in mind
<beneroth> the advantage of nginx over httpGate is, that nginx has more features. the advantageof httpGate over nginx is, that httpGate has less features. less code, less bugs/attack surface.
<beneroth> I use what fits the use case :)
<beneroth> tankf33der, thanks (chuck moore link)

<razzy> only diff between when and if is that if have 2 statements?
<Regenaxer> No, 'if' has an ELSE part
<razzy> that i meant, thx
<Regenaxer> I though you meant the 'prg', ie more than 1 expression
<Regenaxer> So 'if' is more like 'unless' plus a TRUE exe

<beneroth> Some people in the Go community wish to have the picolisp number type in their language: https://github.com/golang/go/issues/19623
<beneroth> it's a main discussion in the comments about the announcement of Go 2 development: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=18561587

<Regenaxer> Bignums, yes. Not a picolisp invention though
<beneroth> T. But Lisp invention, afaik?
<Regenaxer> I think so too, Lisp was the first (like many other language features)

<razzy> infinite numbers, so comfy :]
<razzy> i wished, there would be something in picolisp like "infinite" value. which would mean "bigger than biggest number in memory so far"
<razzy> you would than say how hard you want your infinum and (/ (my_code) inf) would always evaluate to zero
<razzy> and for all intences and purposes you would get mathematical infinite value
<razzy> (of course, you would need to say that you need sometimes harder infinity) like (* 1000 inf)
<razzy> pointer to biggest number in memory would solve it

<razzy> maybe computinally too expensive. perhaps function that return biggest number in memory?
