<mtsd> Hello everyone!
<beneroth> Helloooo mtsd !
<beneroth> How is going and why? :D
<mtsd> hello beneroth :)
<mtsd> Things are going good. No idea why though, haha
<mtsd> :)
<mtsd> How are things in Switzerland?
<beneroth> good. still an easier area on earth to play human life. :)
<beneroth> we've got 2 new female directors (top of our government are 7 "directors")
<beneroth> currently it rains often and is rather cold, but no snow where I live
<beneroth> my business is doing well :)
<mtsd> Congratulations! Happy to hear that!
<mtsd> Government, yes.. that bit..
<mtsd> We still haven't got one
<mtsd> Election was early in september.
<mtsd> Perhaps I should bring the family to Switzerland instead :)
<beneroth> well having no Government worked pretty well for Belgium (? I think) during the 2008 financial crisis.. all others made bailouts, they did nothing, worked better in hindsight :P
<beneroth> sure, you can move near my location :) but bring some money, everything is expensive here. (and my budget is not yet good enough to pay you a good salary as picolisp programmer... not yet!)
<mtsd> No worries, I won't burden you financially. Promise! :)
<beneroth> not so easy to find flats/houses, but possible with some patience
<mtsd> Stockholm is hard to, in that regard. And expensive
<mtsd> I am on parental leave, but I manage to get some picolisp programming done too
<mtsd> And practicing Penti a little. Confuses my wife to no end when she is borrowing my tablet :)
<beneroth> some danish friends who were here for like 2 years as expats found that the most remarkably thing is the discretion of swiss people, people minding their own business and not starring at danish couple going with a boat and big baggage to a lake. apparently in denmark there is lot of status envy? I was not aware of that.
<beneroth> haha, nice
<mtsd> I don't know either. There is some status envy here, at least
<mtsd> Depends on the person, of course
<beneroth> naturally. we can only speak about rough generalisations.
<tankf33der> viaken: ping
<mtsd> Yes, true
<tankf33der> i've solved day 6. thanks for kick and hope.
<beneroth> it's probably true that Swiss do mind their own business more in general than what is usual in other cultures. celebrities can live here mostly undisturbed, neighbours don't care. but in general swiss society is quite conservative and not very open-minded.
<beneroth> tankf33der, nice, congrats!
<tankf33der> pain.
<viaken> tankf33der: Glad I could help.

<tankf33der> day7 is this:
<tankf33der> viaken: day6, i hope you know this techniq.

<rick42> tsup pil peeps
<Regenaxer> Salve rick42!
<rick42> hello, Regenaxer! ("salve" heh)
<rick42> \o/ | <beneroth> my business is doing well :)
<rick42> who wrote the solutions to the Roman numeral (number) to decimal conversions on Rosetta Code (in pil ofc)? curious
<Regenaxer> That was me iirc
<Regenaxer> At least I still find my original version here
<rick42> Some guy on a blog (comment) called those solutions "ingenious"
<Regenaxer> oh
<rick42> :)
<Regenaxer> I did not even remember, but I have exactly this code in my local file where I kept all my rosetta contributions (solutions and some tasks)
<rick42> so, it was you
<Regenaxer> seems so ;)
<rick42> who authored the solutions (on Rosetta Code)
<rick42> hehehe
