Can somebody help me out? I'm trying to dynamic-rerequire a module that's been attached to a namespace and I can't get it to work.

basically I do: (dynamic-rerequire "baz.rkt") (namespace-attach-module (current-namespace) "baz.rkt" ns)

then I make a change to baz.rkt, and try to (dynamic-rerequire "baz.rkt") again, at which point it tells me "current code inspector cannot redeclare module"

if I don't do (namespace-attach-module (current-namespace) "baz.rkt" ns), then I can successfully dynamic-rerequire the module

`1.1.10.4 Module Redeclarations` says "If the current inspector does not manage a module’s declaration inspector (see Code Inspectors), then the module cannot be redeclared."

which I presume to apply to dynamic-rerequire

the documentation for namespace-attach-module says "The inspector of the module invocation in dest-namespace is the same as inspector of the invocation in src-namespace."

so, if namespace-attach-module is using the same code inspector, and having the same code inspector is necessary to rerequire a module, what is the problem?

wait, if I use namespace-attach-module-declaration, then it works... but why?
