<naobsd> Astralix: I don't say gcc fixes your issue. I recommend to use RK official toolchain because you're using RK official kernel tree

<Astralix1> naobsd, for radxa problems: the schematics show radxa lite, radxa and radxa pro with RK610 HDMI interface chip. An older release and the preview-boards do have an IT66121 (ITS) HDMI controller. Probably that is one reason for not having any video.

<naobsd> Astralix1: it's very clear that if you use kernel config/prebuilt image for newer board(Pro/Lite 2014) on older board(ES/Full/Lite 2013), you'll lose HDMI output
<naobsd> Astralix1: and we are not talking about it
<Astralix1> naobsd, if I use one of the other configs, it is only raining i2c error messages.
<Astralix1> so none of the existing stable-3.0 defconfig match the older boards.
<Astralix1> I am not crying, just giving a status.
<naobsd> Astralix1: like "rk610 cannot be found", I guess
<Astralix1> you cannot see anything just millions of i2c errors reading or writing to address xy
<naobsd> and what I said was/is "try radxa-dev-kk"
<Astralix1> It was on my list, but today I got other priorities... Didn't had time
<Astralix1> naobsd: radxa/radxa-dev-kk ?
<naobsd> anyway I don't have answer, no need to be hurry.
<Astralix1> lol
<naobsd> Astralix1: yes
<naobsd> the point is, stable-3.0 is new branch, not so reliable
<Astralix1> rk3188_radxa_rock_linux_defconfig
<Astralix1> or rk3188_radxa_rock_kitkat_defconfig
<naobsd> same for gcc, gcc 4.6 in android sdk is official, most reliable for RK kernel
<naobsd> I prefer to use reliable one to find out cause of problem
<naobsd> yes, radxa-dev-kk doesn't have Pro/Lite2014 support, it's impossible to mis-use wrong config/image ;)

<Astralix1> naobsd, the last line is the first line of an instant reboot
<Astralix1> need to go to bed, but two remarks to that result above (don't hit me :)
<Astralix1> compiled with 4.8.2 hf
<Astralix1> booted on Loader 2.16 as I have Problems with 2.08, resulting in lots of download verify failed errors.
