<mrcan> hipboi: i built kernel (boot.img) and prepared rootfs (rootfs.img) and copied them to rockchip-pack tools for getting update.img. after that run ./mkupdate.sh and that script gave me update.img but its size onlg 401568bytes. my boot.img ~13mb, and rootfs.img ~1gb
<mrcan> can you please show me where i am wrong?
<hipboi> mrcan, i think pack failed
<mrcan> mkupdate output is looking good.
<mrcan> btw i built afptool by self. cause prebuilt tool given for x64 machine, but im on i686
<hipboi> mrcan, that should be no problem
<hipboi> checkout your package-file
<hipboi> is the path correct?
<mrcan> hipboi: http://pastebin.com/Vg6MR4Qi here is output. i check given path at last line.

<hipboi> mrcan, i don't remember which repo i built the tools
<hipboi> let me check it
<mrcan> https://github.com/radxa/rockchip-pack-tools built tools here, but not usefull for me cause of x64 binaries
<mrcan> ah thanks give me time for compile ti
<mrcan> hipboi: http://pastebin.com/WFmNq58Z what it means about cant opne file package-file?

<mrcan> sory, downloaded directory doesnt have package-file, copied from yours, and output success but file is 397472 bytes
<hipboi> mrcan, :O
<mrcan> here is the output
<hipboi> mrcan, is Linux/boot-linux.img and Linux/rootfs.img there?
<hipboi> ls -lh Linux/rootfs.img
<mrcan> no in same directory, i wasnt know Linux/ directory required
<hipboi> oh, sorry it was not in the document
<hipboi> i think we need to update the document
<mrcan> i think know it sohuld create correct image. waiting for creating its busy now
<mrcan> sory for typos :D
<mrcan> also can you please update source code link! thanks
<hipboi> mrcan, which link are you refer
<hipboi> mrcan, ok
<mrcan> i can edit if you wanna i have wiki account on your wiki
<hipboi> mrcan, i have already edited it :)
<mrcan> hipboi: nice, also i want to ask another question about lvds
<mrcan> in this link i see a array named as dsp_lut, can you please explain me what its mean? https://github.com/linux-rockchip/kernel_rockchip/blob/radxa/stable-3.0/drivers/video/rockchip/screen/lcd_radxa_lvds_1024x600.c
<mrcan> i want to get work my 19" 133x768 lvds lcd
<mrcan> have its datasheet and timing calculations
<mrcan> i searched about dsp_lut but, didnt get any clear knowledge
<hipboi> mrcan, lut is the look up table, for better color displayed on LCD
<mrcan> if i change timing informations lcd should work for given link, also i will select this on kernel configuration screen? https://github.com/linux-rockchip/kernel_rockchip/blob/radxa/stable-3.0/drivers/video/rockchip/screen/lcd_hh070d_lvds.c
<hipboi> mrcan, no
<hipboi> mrcan, drivers/video/rockchip/screen/lcd_xxx are the configuration for the lcd that proved working
<hipboi> mrcan, you can add your new lcd on that folder starting from copying existing one
<mrcan> hipboi: only lcd_mylcd.c file enough for getting work lvds?
<hipboi> mrcan, how do you connect the lvds on the board?
hramrach_ has joined #radxa
<mrcan> hipboi: im connecting my lcd to rock pros lvds connector which 40pin 0.5mm pitch connector at bottom of board. my pin reference is your schematic 20140718 dated pdf file
<hipboi> so the pin definition should be no problem, right?
<hipboi> i mean the signal and the order
<mrcan> i dont drive backligh from rock pro and dont have touch screen
<mrcan> only connected lvds signals
<hipboi> ok, then should no problem
<hipboi> backlight is on,right?
<mrcan> yes on, driven by another board
<hipboi> mrcan, now what you need to do is modify the timing
<mrcan> i need timings for getting resolution at 1366x768 px
<mrcan> http://212.253.79.123:1453/M185XW01.pdf this is my lcd"s datasheet
<hipboi> mrcan, i will check out tomorrow
<hipboi> mrcan, sorry need to go now
<hipboi> off work
<hipboi> time to go home, it's 9 pm here
<mrcan> okay hipboi have a good day
<mrcan> see you tomorrow
<hipboi> mrcan, i will send you the lcd configuration manual later
<hipboi> mrcan, but it's in Chinese
<mrcan> oh you are awesome hipboi !! thanks!
<hipboi> mrcan, it's provided by rockchip
<hipboi> it's in the rockchip tablet sdk
<hipboi> you can also find it in the wild, in the leak SDK
<mrcan> i dont have information about rockchip tablet
